The Johnstown Area Heritage Association is currently working on a capital campaign entitled "Preserving Our Heritage: Revitalizing Our Community", in support of the new Johnstown Children's Museum and several other projects. The campaign goal is $8,050,000, and JAHA is asking individuals and businesses to support us as we near that goal. Donations of any size are welcome -- to donate now, visit the online donations page, which is part of JAHA's online store, or download a pledge card. As a part of the campaign, JAHA has introduced the 1889 Society for those who contribute $4,000 or more to this effort. JAHA museums include the Johnstown Flood Museum, the Frank & Sylvia Pasquerilla Heritage Discovery Center, and the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden; the Johnstown Children's Museum is currently under construction. In addition, JAHA produces the AmeriServ Johnstown FolkFest and a wide variety of special events. JAHA maintains an extensive archive of objects, photographs and documents that are significant to the history of Johnstown and the surrounding areas.
