The Johnstown Area Heritage Association is currently working on a capital campaign entitled "Preserving Our Heritage: Revitalizing Our Community", in support of the new Johnstown Children's Museum and several other projects. The campaign goal is $8,050,000, and JAHA is asking individuals and businesses to support us as we near that goal. Donations of any size are welcome -- to donate now, visit the online donations page, which is part of JAHA's online store, or download a pledge card.

As a part of the campaign, JAHA has introduced the 1889 Society for those who contribute $4,000 or more to this effort. To learn more, visit the 1889 Society page on the Capital Campaign section of this website.

JAHA museums include the Johnstown Flood Museum, the Frank & Sylvia Pasquerilla Heritage Discovery Center, and the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden; the Johnstown Children's Museum is currently under construction. In addition, JAHA produces the AmeriServ Johnstown FolkFest and a wide variety of special events. JAHA maintains an extensive archive of objects, photographs and documents that are significant to the history of Johnstown and the surrounding areas.
