Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority Cambria County GIS Projects

The Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority is working together with the other agencies which cooperate within the framework of the Cambria County Department of Community and Economic Development to develop a County wide geographic information system (GIS). The project is only in its infant stages but a substantial amount of digital data has been collected from other sources. Currently available data layers include.

Line Coverages
• Center line of all streets and road classifications
• Streams
• Railroads
• Municipal boundaries
• 5 meter topographic lines

The Cambria County Conservation District has these coverages available in ArcInfo Export format and ArcView Shapefiles.
